Exploring The 1850's 😬

On the 11th March we joined Room 23 and Room 25 for a exciting trip to Howick Historical Village. When we went on the bus I sat near the back and no one sat with me! 😠 and then a Samoan lady sat next to me and I got squished! I fell asleep half way there. When we got there it looked very boring. 😐 And then we had morning tea, then we started to do our adventure! There were four activities in total: School, Different ways to communicate, Old fashioned games and a tour around the village. When we got to the School the girls wore there hats inside but we did not witch was really annoying! I liked when the teacher told us that girls had to look pretty and boys had to look strong! But the weird part was that when I turned 12, I had to look for a wife! That is just gross!!!! when we went inside we wrote on this rock board thing that they used to write on in the 1850's we wrote: "It is never to late to learn." Then we went out and did the rest of the activities. My  favourite game was Skittles. (Not the candy!) We had such an awesome day!!!
